What Can You Expect When You Book Us?
Professional, Friendly and Always Up For A Chat
Now for some technical bits: We always pride ourselves on being friendly, approachable, easy to work with and up for a chat. Saying that, we are full-time professionals, which means we do make our living from this, so we have to have a few things in place.
We are full members of Equity, so have full Public Liability Insurance through them. We also have full DBS checks (available on request) and have our RAMS statement for any risk assessment needs available.
Our process for booking is a straightforward as we can make it, in 3 simple steps:
STEP ONE:
Get In Touch
Use info@mindswaysmagic.com or call, text or WhatsApp either of us on 07941 521 469 (George) or 07982 145 631 (Alex) or fill out the form below with details of your event.
We’ll then chat to see about how we can help you, see what sort of event you’re hosting, how many people, their ages and the kind of venue you have, and most importantly, get you a quote.
STEP TWO:
Details & Deposit
If you want to go ahead and book us, we ask for a confirmation of the time and venue in written form (either through text or email) as soon as possible.
We usually (but not always) ask for a 10% deposit to be paid in the few days after our conversation to confirm the booking. After that, everything is confirmed.
We then ask for the remaining amount to be paid in the week prior to the event (via BACS/Bank Transfer or Credit/Debit card over the phone) or paid on the night (either through cash or we have a nifty little card machine).
STEP THREE:
The Big Event
We will confirm with you in the week or so running up to the event. If you have any bespoke requests, all the details will be sorted before then.
On the day, we turn up about 15-30 minutes prior to get everything sorted – we usually need a corner of the room for our stuff, or an area with a table for our props if it’s a show. We’ll also meet with you and get to know you and your guests before we start properly. From then on, you just have to sit back and relax, and enjoy the comedy and magic!
